Mt. Diablo is 8-2 against Ygnacio Valley since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Mt. Diablo will look to defend their home field against Ygnacio Valley at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mt. Diablo lost 16-3 to Swett on Friday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Leif Scallin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Leslie Garcia also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Ygnacio Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Campolindo, falling 24-9.

Ygnacio Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mt. Diablo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Mt. Diablo's way against Ygnacio Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, as Mt. Diablo made off with a 20-3 victory. Will Mt. Diablo repeat their success, or does Ygnacio Valley has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
