Volleyball Recap: Vincennes Rivet Takes a Loss

Vincennes Rivet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Shoals Jug Rox, falling 3-0. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Jug Rox when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Shoals scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Hadley Haulk, who had 19 digs and one assist.

Vincennes Rivet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Shoals, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Vincennes Rivet wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Daviess on the 23rd. As for Shoals, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mitchell on the 23rd.
