Soccer Recap: Olympus Takes a Loss

Olympus lost against Alta back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Olympus took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alta. While losing is never fun, Olympus can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Alta are ranked fourth).

Olympus dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Alta, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Olympus will venture away from home to square off against Skyline at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alta, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against West on the 28th.
