Soccer Recap: Crystal River Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After low-scoring totals in their previous seven contests, Crystal River brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Weeki Wachee Hornets on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Tyler Penn as he scored four goals for his team.

Crystal River's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9. As for Weeki Wachee, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Crystal River didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 loss against The Villages Charter on the 11th. As for Weeki Wachee, they will take on Lecanto at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lecanto will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Weeki Wachee surely won't give up without a fight.
