Ilwaco waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the North Beach Hyaks by a score of 10-7. That's two games straight that the Fishermen have won by exactly three runs.

Ilwaco's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for North Beach, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ilwaco will take on Naselle at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fishermen will need to watch out since the Comets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for North Beach, they will host Winlock at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
