Softball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pisgah Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly two runs.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Skyline will head out on the road to take on Ider at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pisgah, they will host Section at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
