Basketball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

If Calabasas was feeling good fresh off their 63-39 takedown of Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Coyotes were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 62-61 to the Camarillo Scorpions. The Coyotes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scorpions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.

Calabasas now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Camarillo, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Calabasas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Palo Verde Valley at 5:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Camarillo, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Ranch at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
