The Fairfax Lions will welcome the Alexandria City Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alexandria City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Fairfax, who comes in off a win.
On Friday, Fairfax strolled past Woodson with points to spare, taking the game 24-6. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won six in a row.

Daryn Caesar was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Those 127 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Fairfax's run defense was locked in: Woodson could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. The Lions' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.83 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 5.2 on average over their last five games.
Fairfax didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jashon Payne and Nathan Hurley.
Meanwhile, Alexandria City came up short against South County on Friday and fell 24-17. The Titans have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Fairfax will have to contain Alpha Jalloh as he made an impact in Alexandria City's last game. He rushed for 139 yards and one score. Jalloh is becoming a predictor of Alexandria City's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't). Jamar Cannon got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 11 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cannon, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
The win got Fairfax back to even at 5-5. As for Alexandria City, their record is now an identical 5-5.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Fairfax has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 187.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Alexandria City struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 192.5 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Fairfax beat Alexandria City 14-7 when the teams last played back in October. Do the Lions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
