High school basketball: Dylan Harper, V.J. Edgecombe and Tre Johnson among Allen Iverson Roundball Classic selections

The Allen Iverson Roundball Classic announced its 28-player roster Wednesday via social media. The star-studded showcase will feature 11 of the top 12 prospects in the Class of 2024 according to 247Sports.

Each of the top six players in senior classification are participating as Cooper Flagg of Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.), Ace Bailey of McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.), Dylan Harper of Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.), V.J. Edgecombe of Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.), Tre Johnson of Link Academy (Branson, Mo.) and Jalil Bethea of Archbishop Wood (Warminster, Pa.) are among the headliners.

The game also features 12 players who were not selected for the McDonald's All America Game, including some of the games biggest snubs like Morez Johnson Jr. of Thornton (Harvey, Ill.), Jackson McAndrew of Wayzata (Plymouth, Minn.), Ahmad Nowell of Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, Pa.), Jase Richardson of Columbus (Miami, Fla.), Billy Richmond of Camden (Camden, N.J.) and Robert Wright III of Montverde Academy.

Although a date and location have yet to be officially announced, the game is expected to be played at some point in April in the state of Virginia. Check out the full roster below.
