Softball Recap: South Eugene Comes Up Short

South Eugene lost against North Medford back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Axe lost 15-5 to the Black Tornado. The Axe have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Eugene's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for North Medford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Eugene will venture away from home to challenge Roseburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Axe's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Medford, they will face off against Grants Pass at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
