Softball Recap: D'Iberville Comes Up Short

D'Iberville lost against Poplarville back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 7-3 to the Hornets.

D'Iberville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Ledbetter, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

D'Iberville now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Poplarville, they pushed their record up to 13-8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, D'Iberville and Poplarville will both be playing St. Patrick the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Fighting Irish at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 2:15 p.m.
