Midland Christian entered their tilt with Fort Worth Christian on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Midland Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-10, 25-18, 25-15.

Midland Christian's record now sits at 14-18. As for Fort Worth Christian, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Midland Christian and All S will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fort Worth Christian, they will welcome All Saints Episcopal at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
