Volleyball Recap: Bishop Walsh Takes a Loss

Bishop Walsh lost against Heritage Academy back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bishop Walsh was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-12.

Bishop Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Bishop Walsh will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salisbury Elk Lick at 6:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Heritage Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grace Academy on the 2nd.
