Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sherman). They were the clear victors by a 50-30 margin over the Tolsia Rebels on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Tide sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Sherman's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trey Lester led the charge by picking up 197 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 64 yards and one score on only five carries. Those 197 receiving yards gave Lester a new career-high. Another signal caller making a difference was Eli Pauley, who threw for 359 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
Sherman's record now sits at 6-1. As for Tolsia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
