Baseball Recap: Cory-Rawson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cory-Rawson's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Hardin Northern Polar Bears on Friday. The Fighting Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Cory-Rawson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Hardin Northern, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Coming up, Cory-Rawson will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Hornets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Hardin Northern, they will head out to take on Vanlue at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Polar Bears are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
