Softball Recap: West Marion's Undefeated Season over After 18 Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last eight games, West Marion finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the St. Patrick Fighting Irish by a score of 1-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Trojans were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Marion fell to 17-1. As for St. Patrick, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

While West Marion had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
