Basketball Recap: West Broward Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

If Plantation wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played West Broward, they should've done a better job of containing Lamaria Williams. The West Broward Bobcats strolled past the Plantation Colonels with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 59-43 thanks in part to Williams, who posted 34 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of West Broward's points.

Tejal Donker was another key player, putting up ten points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

West Broward is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. As for Plantation, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. West Broward has already played their next game (against Taravella), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Plantation will challenge Dillard on Tuesday. Plantation is facing Dillard at the right time seeing as Dillard is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
