Soccer Recap: Woodgrove Takes a Loss

Woodgrove scored the most goals they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Dominion Titans by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Woodgrove in their meetings with Dominion: they've now lost three in a row.

Woodgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dominion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodgrove will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loudoun County at 7:15 p.m. on May 1. As for Dominion, they will venture away from home to face off against Rock Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Dominion's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
