While Hoover put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Green. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in April, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

With the win, Hoover broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-10. As for Green, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5.

Hoover and Green should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Vikings will square off against Magnificat at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (73 vs. 385). Meanwhile, Green (ranked 13th) will meet Cleveland Heights (ranked 562nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
