Recap: Valley Regional Warriors vs. Cromwell Panthers
The Valley Regional Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 59-44 fall against Cromwell. Valley Regional has not had much luck with Cromwell recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Valley Regional still got an impressive performance from Rex Grabowski, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. It was the first time this season that Grabowski scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Noah Dolinsky, who scored 15 points.
Valley Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Cromwell, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Valley Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-53 loss vs. Haddam-Killingworth on the 9th. Cromwell has also already played their next game, a 78-56 win against East Hampton on the 9th.
