Baseball Recap: West Valley Picks Up Tenth Consecutive Victory

West Valley hadn't done well against Carson recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Senators. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Bryton Miller was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Mason Mcfadden was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

West Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win (which was West Valley's tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Carson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-17.

Coincidentally, West Valley and Carson will both be playing Enterprise the next time they take the field. The Senators will head out to face the Hornets at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
