Baseball Recap: Tiverton Takes a Loss

If Tiverton was feeling good fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Times Squared Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woonsocket Villa Novans on Wednesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Tigers' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Tiverton now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Woonsocket, their victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tiverton is set to face off against their familiar foe Davies Career & Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woonsocket will challenge rival North Smithfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
