Soccer Recap: Wesson's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Wesson's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lawrence County Cougars by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wesson's win bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Lawrence County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wesson will take on Bogue Chitto at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Lawrence County, they will head out on the road to face off against Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
