Basketball Recap: Clinton Wins Going Away Against Brodhead

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marshall, Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Brodhead Cardinals. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 79-59 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

The victory got Clinton back to even at 2-2. As for Brodhead, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Clinton will head out on the road to challenge Turner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Turner likes a good challenge. Brodhead will take on Edgerton in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. Edgerton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Brodhead surely won't give up without a fight.
