Volleyball Recap: Seward Finds Playoff Glory Versus Scottsbluff

With a playoff win on the line, Seward rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Scottsbluff Bearcats. That's more bragging rights for the Bluejays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Seward to victory were Rilynn Hiser and Grace Brees. Hiser had seven digs and three aces, while Brees had 12 digs and three assists. That's the most digs Brees has posted over her last seven matches.

With the victory, Seward broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 18-14. As for Scottsbluff, their loss dropped their record down to 19-17.

Seward has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Skutt Catholic on the 1st. Scottsbluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
