Basketball Recap: Dallas Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against All S back in December of 2024, Dallas Christian Academy came back down to earth. Dallas Christian Academy came up short against the Texas Lions HomeSchool Lions on Saturday, falling 76-56. While losing is never fun, Dallas Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Texas Lions HomeSchool is ranked 118th).

Trenton Page was his usual excellent self, going 10 for 14 on his way to 21 points and eight assists for Texas Lions HomeSchool. That's the most points Page has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Karsen Ramsey, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards.

The defeat snapped Dallas Christian Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3 record. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 29-6.

Dallas Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 57-55 win against Texas Institute on the 21st. As for Texas Lions HomeSchool, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Dallas Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Texas Lions HomeSchool is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.5 points per game this season.
