Rancho Mirage's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged the Palm Springs Indians out 2-1. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 261st, while the Indians are ranked 876th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rancho Mirage has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those 13 games. As for Palm Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14-4.
