Oakbrook Prep had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Community Christian Academy Ambassadors. This was a revenge game for the Knights: when they faced off against the Ambassadors two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 22-25, 25-15.

When it comes to explaining why Community Christian Academy lost, don't look at Grace Jang. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs.

Oakbrook Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Community Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their 12-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-3.

Oakbrook Prep and Community Christian Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. The Knights will face off against Carolina Day at 5:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (173 vs. 466). Meanwhile, Community Christian Academy (ranked 91st) will meet South Aiken Baptist Christian (ranked 222nd) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
