Soccer Recap: Darlington Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Darlington after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Trion Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to them when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Darlington and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Trion, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Darlington will challenge Dalton Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Trion, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Ringgold at 5:00 p.m.
