Basketball Recap: Sargent County Piles Up the Points Against Shanley

Sargent County won the last time they faced Shanley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sargent County Bulldogs blew past the Shanley Deacons, posting a 60-24 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sargent County and bumps their season record up to 13-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Shanley, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sargent County will venture away from home to challenge LaMoure/Litchville-Marion at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shanley, they will challenge Horace at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Horace will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Shanley surely won't give up without a fight.
