Basketball Recap: Edison Eagles vs. Mustang Broncos
Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustang Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 67-49 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2021.
Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mustang, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Edison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-41 win against Coweta on the 7th. As for Mustang, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 43-34 victory against Bishop Kelley on the 7th.
