Basketball Game Preview: Genesee Valley Jaguars vs. Honeoye Bulldogs

The Genesee Valley Jaguars will take on the Honeoye Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Genesee Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-59 to Cuba-Rushford. The Jaguars have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Honeoye entered their tilt with Naples on Thursday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They claimed a resounding 75-45 victory over the Big Green Machines. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Honeoye's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Genesee Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
