Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook Takes a Loss

Fallbrook came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Mission Vista. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with Mission Vista: they've now lost five in a row.

Fallbrook was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-18.

Fallbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Mission Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fallbrook will challenge rival Rancho Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mission Vista is set to square off against their familiar foe Del Norte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
