Soccer Recap: Meir Takes a Loss

Meir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Carmen Science & Tech South, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Meir can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Carmen Science & Tech South is ranked 38th).

Meir's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Carmen Science & Tech South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Meir will venture away from home to face off against Audubon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carmen Science & Tech South, they will challenge Milwaukee Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milwaukee Hamilton's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
