Baseball Recap: West Boylston Takes a Loss

West Boylston lost against Narragansett Regional back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 5-4. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Boylston's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Narragansett Regional, they moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Narragansett Regional will challenge St. Bernard's Central Catholic at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bernardians have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. West Boylston will be paying especially close attention to Narragansett Regional's matchup: after Narragansett Regional faces off against St. Bernard's Central Catholic, they'll take on West Boylston again at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
