Florence entered their tilt with De Soto on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 2-0.

Miley VanDenHeuvel paced Florence's offense, picking up six kills. VanDenHeuvel got some help from Kelsi Chrisman and her ten assists. VanDenHeuvel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for De Soto, they moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
