Football Recap: Evergreen Cougars vs. Pomona Panthers

The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October.
Even if they lost, Evergreen's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Lyla Willoughby and Elle Buenning, who racked up all four sacks between them.
Evergreen is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7. As for Pomona, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Evergreen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pomona has already played their next contest, a 13-7 loss against Mountain View on the 26th.
