Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vandegrift). They blew past the Ray Texans 13-7 on Friday. Considering the Vipers have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Vandegrift's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2. As for Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Vandegrift will take on Austin in a tournament on Saturday. As for Ray, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Glenn on the 7th.
