Westfield has gone 9-1 against Sherman recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Westfield Wolverines will head out on the road to  face off against  the Sherman Wildcats  at 7:30  p.m. Westfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Westfield is headed into the  game after thoroughly thrashing Brocton: they outscored them in every quarter. Westfield relied on the efforts of   Carson Swanson, who  dropped  a double-double with 39 points and 16  assists, and   Zach Maguire, who  shot 5-for-7 from long range and  dropped  a double-double with 27  points and 12  rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Swanson has scored at least a third of Westfield's points.  Grant Beadle was another key player,  putting up eight  points and five  boards.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  assist department: Westfield was working as a unit and  finished the game with 23  assists. That's the most  assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
 Meanwhile,  Sherman played a tough  contest  on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Panama and fell  75-40. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.
 Sherman now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westfield, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
 Everything came up roses for Westfield against Sherman in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  69-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westfield since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
