Baseball Recap: Swansea Extends Winning Streak to Five

While Swansea didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Pelion Panthers on Wednesday as the Swansea Tigers made off with a 10-0 win. Fans of the Tigers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Swansea got a massive performance out of Kreaton Steppe, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was Steppe's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Harper, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.4 runs. As for Pelion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Swansea will be playing at home against Keenan at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Pelion, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Ridge Spring-Monetta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
