Baseball Recap: Highlands Ranch Victorious

Highlands Ranch not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21, 2025 (when they won 9-2). They blew past the Emmett Huskies 12-6. The Falcons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Connor Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Andrew Dibling was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He also put up two RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Austin Benner, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Highlands Ranch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.

Highlands Ranch's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Emmett, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Highlands Ranch will take on Forest Grove in a tournament on Friday. As for Emmett, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Stayton at 3:00 p.m.
