The McAlester Buffaloes will head out to square off against the Coweta Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McAlester will be strutting in after a win while Coweta will be coming in after a loss.

McAlester took a loss when they played away from home on September 6th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They walked away with a 10-2 victory over Ada.

McAlester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Smith, who picked up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown. Smith got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 82 yards.

McAlester's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done.
