The league's top two teams in the standings locked horns this week, as Riverside took home a 6-2 victory over Perquimans on Friday.
Perquimans sits in first place in 1A Four Rivers at 11-3 (18-7 overall).
Riverside (16-11, 10-4) is riding a league-best 8-game winning streak. Two of those wins came in the past week, including a 6-2 victory over Perquimans and a 9-2 win over Northside.
