Baseball Game Preview: Lake Mills L-Cats vs. Big Foot Chiefs

The Lake Mills L-Cats will challenge the Big Foot Chiefs at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Lake Mills came up short against Mount Horeb and fell 7-4. The L-Cats have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Mason Flood made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Meanwhile, Big Foot also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Evansville by a score of 8-4.

Big Foot saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Skylar Jacobs was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Big Foot's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Lake Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
