Volleyball Game Preview: Immanuel Eagles vs. Shafter Generals + Official Tickets

Immanuel is a perfect 3-0 against Shafter since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Immanuel comes in on five and Shafter on 29.

Immanuel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Bakersfield 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Shafter earned a 3-1 victory over Kerman on Thursday.

Shafter had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.

Immanuel better keep an eye on Emily Pugh. She was instrumental in Shafter's win, getting nine digs.

Shafter's win bumped their record up to 33-1. As for Immanuel, their victory bumped their record up to 20-16.

Everything went Immanuel's way against Shafter when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Immanuel made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
