Basketball Recap: Walla Walla Comes Up Short

Walla Walla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Southridge Suns, falling 66-37. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Suns are ranked 73rd).

Walla Walla's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Southridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Walla Walla is set to face off against their familiar foe Richland at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southridge will take on rival Hermiston at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
