Gulf Shores entered their tilt with Bayside Academy on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bayside Academy Admirals, posting a 55-24 win. Given the Dolphins' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Admirals are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gulf Shores is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Bayside Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Gulf Shores will be taking part in a tournament against Spanish Fort at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bayside Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
