It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tuscola had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Stuart W. Cramer Storm 9-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Mountaineers, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Bo West was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Amos Rich, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Tuscola was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in seven consecutive games.

Tuscola's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Stuart W. Cramer, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-8.

As of now, neither Tuscola nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
