Basketball Recap: Pleasant Grove Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Pleasant Grove won the last time they faced Mountain View, and Brennan Blackett did his part to make sure it happened again. The Pleasant Grove Vikings walked away with a 58-47 win over the Mountain View Bruins on Friday thanks in part to Blackett, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Despite the loss, Mountain View still got an impressive performance from Brennan Olsen, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Hair, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points and three steals.

Pleasant Grove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Mountain View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Pleasant Grove and Highland will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Skyline is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.2 points per game this season.
