Baseball Recap: Emmanuel Christian Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Christian lost against Northwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors fell 4-1 to the Rangers.

Sam Kutz put in work while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Kutz was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Emmanuel Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Northwood, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.

While Emmanuel Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
